You should repost this in the Forced Induction forum for a better answer. Even then, if it's some wierd brand kit coming off eBay, people on this site are going to tell you "no," in general. I wouldn't do it, personally.
well i bought a turbo set up from there just like that one and it worked great for me.. but i did change my wastegate to a tial one and the piping for it is just pieces.. u have to customize them for ur own car... its good i supose to start up wit turbo. i liked it so far but am worried it might crack since so many people have heard bad bout them so im in the market for a name brand turbo charger and manifold.. but to start off it wudnt hurt as long as u got it tuned
We just got done installing one of these on an HX i feel it was a complete waist of money for the kid because he really doesnt get any boost till 3rd by then its too late. Damn tall gears and E-VTEC.

Umm, sorry about going off topic but...do you know what the heck you are talking about? Boost isn't dependent on gears...being in 3rd doesn't mean you make more boost over say first or second. It depends on the RPM. Taller gears are usually a good thing in a turbo car b/c you stay in boost longer.
To the OP: Why not work on piecing together a kit? I know everyone says that but it will yield you much better parts. You can piece together a used kit for around a grand or a little over like ek forever guy suggested.
On a side note. At least its a cast manifold, you don't have to worry about it falling apart on you.
Wastegate placement could use some work.

if that were true everyone and their mom would have an LS tranny on their turbo'd B-seried and a cx/vx tranny on their turbo'd sohcs.
Not the truth, faster is faster, boost or not. It's arguable but having longer gears isn't really beneficial until you're looking at sub 8 second cars.

No doubt, that's why my h2b "plan" will be getting al ls 5th and gsr final drive.

.....what?
.....what?
truthfully the kit doesn't look to bad.. the only thing i would be worried about is fitment (usual problem with all kits) and the turbo.. everything else looks pretty good.. nice cast manifold, fair intercooler.. everything looks good for the price.. i dont know how it would do performance wise, but i dont see why it wouldnt be close to a DRAG kit or something comparable, other then that turbo

it wouldnt matter if the turbo was to big, if it spooled in 3rd it should spool in 1st and 2nd
