Default changing my mind

ive decided to get a 1994 integra for a first car.Ive orignally loved 1992 civic hatchs but the teg has hypnotized me with its looks and power.Well i already know that a gsr is way out of my league from what ive seen you post insurance companys think gsr are high performance so they will rape you.Unless someone here is 17 like me and is paying lik 140 or somethin on a gsr i will get an ls.

LS is gonna be a better deal. the older gs-r's are very hard to find in good condition (atleast the ones for sale), and you can use the saved funds to go into mods.

Integras are the number 1 stolen car. Thats why it cost you soo much to insure. Not cause they are fast, or whatnot

The insurance company will view it as a "sport coupe" or something like that. Atleast that's what my insurance company calls it (State Farm). I had a car that was a similiar to my Teg before (2 door, 4cyc, hatch, etc) and the insurance was way less. I think the combination of being Acura, sporty, the most stolen car, and the performance based (compared to other 4cyl cars) engine is what makes the insurance rates higher. I paid like $180 a month (full cov) on mine before I turned 25, rate has gone down considerably since then. If your driving record is clean, you may be able to find a good deal on insurance so you can get a GSR. But, like stated before, an LS is always a good alternative if you're set on an Integra.

justin is correct....

The delta (difference) in pricing for me in going from my RS to a GS-R that I was looking at was going to be $700/yr. and I have fairly good rates for my area.

Anything over 150hp in this size of car and insurance will go up.

Hmm, I'd go for another insurance co. I see Geico as a company that offers basic liability to high risk drivers.

I personaly like Geico. I just filed a claim with them and they were fast and gave me more money than i expected. I am not a high risk driver either. clean record.
