Re: insurance costs? (Sarren)
It is gonna very state to state person to person. However my 97 LS $60 a month cheaper then my 00 GS_R. Best thing is to call a insurance company and ask.

if you live in a high theft area, the difference is going to be pretty magor. I pay about 275 a month, but i am in a VERY high theft region.

Yes, a GSR will always be more for insurance than an Integra LS, SE, RS. But just look at it this way...you will be paying a lot for the GSR, but not as much as the guy that is driving the Type-R. LOL

The state of NJ rapes me hardcore for 3300 for my GSR. The car is in my mothers name as well. I wish I had that cash back, I would have a JDM front already.

Definitely call different insurance companies and ask.
My insurance company rated the GSR and the LS the same. Sport cars....because they were 2 door coupes. The sedans were under "compact car."
That pissed me off because my parents only got me the LS and not the GSR because they thought it would be cheaper with insurance. Oh well. That was a long time ago.

Re: insurance costs? (NA Integra)
Pay around $90 a month for my 94 GSR in socal. I have a clean record and 8 years of driving. Always have had good student discount and anti-theft device discount etc...
My car is a sedan so a coupe may vary. What sucks is my parents have a brand new 530 and pay less a month for better coverage (lower deductable etc). Kind of funny how a car over 5x the value of mine is cheaper to insure.

Re: insurance costs? (GZR4DR)
I live in NJ.
The car insurance ghetto of america.
So nothing makes sense here.
If you can believe this, my '92 GS-R is costing LESS, than my 91 LS did.
Don't try to figure it out. I don't.

NOVA/DC suburbs area could also probly be considered car insurance ghetto. Atleast in NJ your gas is on average like .20 cheaper per gallon.

Re: (whiteyLS)
26 years old $140 full coverage 94 gs-r 2 dr in Reno, NV, no tickets on DMV printout . Would be a little more but it's on a multi car policy. It all depends on many different variables I.E. year, location, thefts ETC. Call your insurance company and ask price on a gs-r vs LS.
