Well first, do you hear a ticking coming from your engine bay?
--Valve issue
•Check you ECU for a blinking light
•Also, take that blue connector off and try to twist the red and blue together..

You're deaf and you're driving a car??

I guess you can cut the wires if you would like...I'm just saying that when you put that paper clip in the connector, the blue and red wires might not be receiving spark..I'm just giving you some troubleshooting ideas to think on..

And did you mess up the timing when you "attempted" to fix it?? Need more information.....

Well I said before you could have a valve issue (bent valves) which would cause a rough idle...But I have no experience in this so it would help to get someone with more experience in this thread =/

if the car is OBD0, to check the codes, pull back the carpet on the passenger side and look at the ECU in the footwell - it will have a flashing LED - count the number of times it flashes - it will flash anumber of times, pause, and then repeat - if you have more than one code it will flash a number of times, pause, flash a different number of times, pause, etc.
