Yeah you need it man. Why wouldn't you? You need to use the injector resistor unless you are using OBD1 fuel injectors.

just to clarify: the Main Relay actually contains 2 relays - one relay sends power to the ECU and energizes the 2nd relay which supplies power to the fuel pump and the injectors - without A15, you will have no power to the ECU

I'm getting ready to do the same exact swap. Those are the ones I'll be using as well.

I have never read anything about the A15 wire either. Thanks for the help.

I haven't done this swap yet, but to clear things up a bit. (From how I understand it)

By running the yellow/brown wires from the DPFI injector caps to the Injector Resistor, you bypass the need for running a wire from A15.

That's interesting because I was just out looking at my harness that is about half-way changed to MPFI and I have all the yellow/brown wires running to the resistor(red wires I think) and then the 5th that is at the resistor plug is a yellow(not sure on the color for sure) from I want to say the DPFI's injector.( maybe it is another plug, I can't remember off the top of my head)

The 4 that are the same color go to each of the 4 new injector caps. The color that there is only one of on the resistor is the one that the yellow/brown wires from the dpfi injector wires go to.

I don't see the harm in running a wire to a15 plus down the road when i comes to starting the motor i don't want an illusive electrical problem to spring up.. So ill be fallowing the hondaswap write up unless someone can point me in a different direction and a better write up..

this is hard for me to fallow.. Like to spice those two wire in to one and connect it to the injector resistor box?? Also wont the ecu be looking for the lead to a15?

The resistor box has 5 wires. Four of them are one color(red) and one is another color(yellow). Each injector clip has two wires connected to it. One of these two wires from each injector clip run to the resistor box. Following the directions you will find the four wires that you need to connect to the resistor box. You use the one wire from each of the DX injectors and leave the yellow/black wires for later. The other two injectors get wires that you have run to the engine bay from the ecu. Now that you have each injector(four of course) wired to the resistor you only have one wire that needs to be attached to something. The yellow/black wires I mentioned before come into play here. Take those two wires are solder them together. Then run a wire from that connect to the 5th and final wire that is on the resistor box.

Hopefully that helps. I would like to do my own DPFI to MPFI once I am done. It seems like every write I read leaves out something and none of them are detailed enough IMO.
