I blew at about 350whp on a SC61 (saw it coming down from a 15psi spike)

300-350whp on a healthy engine with a good tune

with rods and pistons, depends on the rest of the setup

Stock B16 blew up at 22lbs. It was around 300hp. Im not sure if you can compare the b16 with the GSR but I hope that helps.

Technically, the bottom end can handle 500-600 whp, the head/valvetrain is a different story.

Not stock. Sleeves yes, internals no. Head last longer then block sometimes (like in 2 of my cases)

What size turbo? must have been untuned.

x2. Most stock internalled B's are capable of 300-350 whp with a good tune.

that must have been one small turbo. 22psi for 300hp? most medium sized turbo's only need 10-13psi to break 300hp.

Yep.

Nope. I already said that the valvetrain/head would give out before the bottom end, the OP asked what the bottom end could handle. He had no mention of the head. A well built head with a stock bottom end is capable of those numbers.

Do you have any examples of that? A stock block B series making 5 to 600 whp sounds crazy.

500-600whp from a stock b doesnt sound plausible. like someone else said earlier, stock sleeves, sure. stock rods and pistons, doubtful.

Exactly. The sleeves would maintain. Pistons and rods are unreasonable.

you're just pushing the sleeves to their absolute limit at those power levels

I doubt 5-600 hp could last a few runs at the track. Not saying it's not possible though, because i think a while back i was reading in the FI section about ppl's best whp with their stock engines.

This is kind of a loaded question..... as are every other time someone asked this.

For instance...the turbo size could vary. So turbo A may flow more than turbo B at 4k RPM

Not to mention you are only as good as your tune. All in all the answer to your question is it ALL DEPENDS

I have seen guys break at 230 hp ...

And I have seen guys break at well over 300 as well
