my friend recently swapped a b18c3 into his hatch. its supposedly a spoon type R motor thats stroked to a 2.0, i-h-e,mugen chipped, i was just curious if this was a euro spec typeR or what ive never heard of a b18c3...can ne1 help?

 

b18c3? the engine right after the b18c2 of course.

neither made it to the market. so eitiher you were at the drunk at the time of readin or your friend is full of BS

 

haha i wasnt drunk...and where he got the swap is a really good shop that has good connections with sheng of jdmhondaparts. he got it swapped at eastside muffler in palmdale CA. i also doubt that he got ripped, he got that motor basically brand new for 5k with less than 100 miles on that motor.

 

I believe it's 96-97 japan spec.

I dont think japan motors use numbers at the end.
An ITR motor there is just B18C.. not B18C5 like here
