H2B electronics and induction q's
Hey guys. I've been into the Honda racing thing for a couple years now. I have an 89 EF with a B16B CTR swap. Ran it in some auto X's and did some trak days.(yawn) Being a drag racer from way back, I'm considering using this car to do some N/A strait line. I read some of the H2B threads and am considering selling the B16B and dropping in a H22A. What kind of ecu or aftermarket engine management would be best to use with the TWM ITB's and a MSD or = distributor? The TWM website just says to use an aftermarket ecu. Pretty vague. Keep in mind this car is gutted and stripped and is race only. Any of you H2B drag racing people, shed some light here. Tell me what is working for you. Thanks in advance!
I have heard that most people are using a p28 ecu with a stock H series Base map.
Then probably like a hondata, neptune, crome, ecu tune, etc . something along those lines to tune it further.

I've seen pics of some H22's with the TWM set ups and were wondering what they were using to trigger the injection signal. The crank position and the cylinder position sensor in the distributor? Or a seperate source?

What are you using now with your ctr motor? If it has been converted to obd1 already, just leave everything the same and retune using crome

Hey Sixty. I am using the stock ctr distributor and pct type 2a ecu. It's obd 2 also. I know there would be some changes if I went to an obd 1 H22 or H23. I'd like to stick with the 3rd gen H motors because of the closed deck. You mentioned crome. I look up some info on that. Thanks!
