Airbag Removal Tool
I pulled the passenger airbag from my 93 civic and I want to cast a mold of it, so that I can add a storage compartment where the airbag used to be. There is one type of screw, and a different type of bolt that hold that airbag to the panel that sits on top of the dash. What tool do I need to use to remove these screws/bolts? I tried searching, but couldn't get it to work.
So thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

you're just trying to get the vinyl cover off?
I know on the preludes, it's a weird 6 pointed thing that looks like a torx bit. I just used pliers to take them off. Not sure if the civics are the same, since I've never taken a passenger side one out on one.
Anyone know if it's the same?

they have a tool for it....I forget the name but the snap on guy sells it....try to take it to auto shop and ask them to remove it...they will do it that way you dont have to buy the tool
i think they are all torx or safety torxs. Safety ones have a hole in the middle. Just go buy a cheap set, they are like 20 bucks a sears
torx safety bit set at sears...last time i checked it was 40 bucks for a 7pc set...i just went last week to get some reg torx bits, but make sure you get the safety one as they have the little indentation in the middle
