Update to Passenger Airbag Removal.
Well I got the tray, I went to start my install and I got the airbag free, but it seems that the panel that covers the airbag on the dash is fastened in somehow so I cant remove it! Is there any step by steps on this short of having to remove the whole dash for this and or cutting open the cover?

on an eg its like wedged in, you dont have to remove your dash
i think the issue is the airbag is in an awkard position bc of the windshield and its fairly heavy so its hard to get out without providing decent force. push on the bottom of the air bag and try to pry it out with screwdrivers from the top. just work with it
edit: did you remove the airbag from the cover already under the dash or are they still connected? im a bit confused now lol

Re: Update to Passenger Airbag Removal. (H22Ej1)
Problem solved... I did not have to pry from the top at all... After loosening the 3 bottom bolts... I uses a long pry bar with the end wrapped in layer of tape for protection and pry under it againt the bottom of the airbag and the support bar that goes through the dash. One I got the Left side(front when your inside the car) pryed up carefully, I then slid the airbag slightly to the left or the pryed up part then gently lifted it out of the whole towards myself. And BAM! I slid the airbag tray in and popped right into place. The only downside is the is nothing to fasten the tray into the dash with there is screw holes on the bottom of the tray but no bracket in the dash to fasten them to... But I must say it sits flat and dont think it will just pop out... I tried some double stick tape but but due to the bevel edges on the tray it does not stick. I have an idea to keep it down using 2 eye hooks and some wire and fasten it down to that support bar i mention earlier. Any questions... hit me up!
