Default Proper way of rerouting dumptube?

I'm going to share my method of doing rerouted dumptube. Obviously I start out with the downpipe and the wastegate outlet sitting where I want them to be. Then I start fabbing the dumptube and welded it as a separate piece, I made a mistake before in which I tacked everything onto the downpipe then the weldings go afterward. This wasn't a good idea since it will be hard to weld with the manifold and the downpipe all in one piece. I saved the last two welds at both ends for last, one at the flange and one that goes on the downpipe.
To make sure perfect alignment, the dumptube and wastegate was still attached during the welding process.
I started with the weld on the downpipe first. (I welded it with the whole setup sitting on the block like that)

Then I moved onto the last weld.

And the finished product

Looks like a very clean setup
to your work.

However I heard that when the dumptube is routed into the DP, it causes "fireballs" thru the exhaust ?
Is that true?

Damn, that is some nice work, gret weld consistency, heat settings!

nice to see someone doing a re routed wastegate, much better sounding than one vented to the atmosphere.
