take a peice of wire and connect the 2 wires that go to the switch on the thermostat just plug one end of the wire into each pin should be 2 of them if the fan dont come on with the car started theres a issue with the wiring if it does its the switch my buddys car is running a 90 integra ls which dosent have that switch so we cut the connector off and twisted the wires fan just stays on while the car is started but shuts off when you turn the car off easy fix

okay i wired all ghetto like from the battery and it comes so i know the fan works. but you guys are saying that i should disconnect the fan switch plug and put a wire to it and if the fan comes on when i turn my car on then i have a problem with the switch . if im getting that or i might have just confused my self. which switch would i need to replace?
