searching around in your local area would be the cheapest way. Thats how i found my LS...i just searched around, made some phone calls to fine the best+cheapest.

Local is usually the best way to go, i got my B16A from jdmsource.ca Like 125 shipped, together i paid 2025 with everything included, and it only took 5 days to get it, in Louisiana from Canada.

If it were me, i'd buy an LS locally, and mate it with a gsr or b16 tranny. You'll eat b16's for lunch and have enough torque to make daily driving comfortable.

buy my longblock instead
it will do over 400whp with a gt40
I'll drive a ways...

But yes, locally really is the way to go. Junk yards usually have at least one integra, and really, all b18a/b's are the same.
Ordering online is alright sometimes... You can usually get some kind of startup warranty, where you wont always, with a junk yard. However, shipping can be pretty damn high...

The intelligence and unknowing bias never cease to amaze me. I do believe this is one of the reasons why I don't frequent this forum anymore.

Regardless, the first portion of the information you posted was correct. I would also get a B16/GSR tranny and mate it with the LS if that is the motor you want to go with. It's also a good platform to drop a vtec head on later and make pretty damn good power.
