Default problem with my vtec boggs when it engages, or doesn't work at all.

this is weird b/c it will either work fine, or boggs the car when it engages or wont work at all. all my wires are hooked up right. any thing i could try.

Do you have good ground to the motor? And how is your oil?

yes just did oil change, check engine lights on but its vss. i have about 5 grounds on the motor

Did you check for a new code since the bogging started?

Also, my ITR would NOT allow VTEC to engage at less than 15 MPH or so, so it could actually be the VSS that's causing your VTEC to not engage and run like crap at high RPM. I think Hondata fixed that but my stock ECU wouldn't let it engage at low speeds.

ic now i realized my clutch slips at vtec so now im super fawk'd i can launch the hell out of it w/o problems but when vtec hits, there is hella clutch smoke.

my friend also has a h22 in his civic. my motor and the vtec engaugement sound totally different
