Noise In the Engine
Ok My prelude sounds like it has a piston hitting the wall or somthing like that but it doesnt do it in 4th gear which i dont get lol but i was wondering if there is anything that you guy know of why it would do that in a H23A1

You need to be more specific on the noise..does it sound like marbles in a can, or lots of ticking like valvetrain noise, or a grating/grinding metal noise or what?

Vtec is engaging in 4th gear not allowing your piston to hit wallz. Check your fluids exp your brakez and get back to us. 
EDIT: So I see you have a h23a, it can't be vtec then, sorry i don't know what else.

its a H23A1 Is not a VTec so and its kinda like knockin slapping sound and you cant feel it from the clutch and i dont know if it is a throw out bearin but it sounds lower not like a valve tick but you never know

well i figured out what it was the rod bearings are going to so 
that means i am putting a H22A in it yay 
although i wanted to put a F20B but i cant find any parts for it the only reason i want it is cuz it has a cast iron block and i can but hella boost in that motor lol
