what are the diffrences, need quick naswers

is the head a PR3 casting?
block diffrences?
DA gsr correct?

ok ty for the info dudes, i didnt have time to repl but we went to the junkyard and we snagged a b17a1 from a totaled GS-R and a p30 ecu from a b16 sol, no plans yet but im shelving all these parts i heard they are somewhat rare, and you cant even get a b16 for the 500 bucks i laid down for both of these, the car was actually running at the salvage yard, *** end wreck

what type of trans did they use on that motor? is it the same egearing as the b16 also?

looks at ej1 in garage, yea been there done that, but used parts and homedepot for boost guage, accssories, oil fittings and stainless ftw


screw -an fittings,

hit up the toiletry aisle, buy stainless yards and end caps !!!!!!!

it's a cable trans that has "upgraded" components. These components found their way into the hydro trans.

It's just like the hydro b16/4.4 itr trans, but it has a slightly shorter 1st and 5th.

b17 cable trans is the ideal cable b-series trans to have.
