Headers in del Sol....
will i have to remove the A/C from my del Sol to put headers on my car? and would it make a difference if they were 4-1 or 4-2-1? i don't want to take out my A/C, but if it has to come out for more torque, then i might as well......
Usually the header just takes up the same amount (or less in the case of my Z6) of space as the stock manifold/downpipe. I wouldn't think you'd have to remove your A/C unless you needed serious clearance for an equal-length header.
i don't know for sure what brand im going for right now because i just wanted to know if i could keep my A/C in or not....maybe DC sports? or is there something out there that would be better?
im going to assume your going all-motor?
if its the b16 in your car, i would recommend getting a jdm 4-1 ITR header
looks stock, performs well for the money, it will keep a/c most likely in your car, and its fairly inexpensive (about the price of a dc but performs better)
and remember to pay attention to the rest of your exhaust system, when making this decision

No, you will not have to remove the a/c to install a header. I have a 95 del Sol S and I installed a AirMass ceramic-coated header w/o any problems except having to purchase an extension to relocate the o2 sensor. Despite hearing some negative comments about Holley products for imports, I'm very happy with the results...it's been in my sol for close to 2 years, no leaks or rust.
Your install should be straight-forward regardless of the header you choose. I had a couple of bolts that didn't want to loosen, so I had to fire up my impact wrench. My only advice on installation would be to definitely use a torque wrench and use a lubricant to loosen those bolts.
btw: My understanding is: 4-1 for top end and 4-2-1 for low and mid

you should ok, when i had my sohc i bought some dc's off my friend for $50 and i was able to keep my ac. My buddy has a del sol with some dc's on it and he has his ac still on there. But think you'll be ok.
