Alright, who's got a header on there B16a del sol? and what brand is it.. where'd you get it from... and was there a noticable power increase?

Also, I want good quarter mile times, so should i go for 4-2-1 or 4-1.

my friend got headers for his del sol. he got it from some guy that went turbo. well his car feel fast becuz hes got alot of stuff on it. but man his vtec sounds loud. i think for b16 its 4-2-1 because i kno 4-1 is for gsr. well thats what somone told me. since b18 have top end

i've got a 4-2-1 header on mine. there was a noticeable increase in midrange power. however, a friend with a dc jdm 4-1 header on his b16 outran me.

IMO, i'd go with the 4-1 w/ testpipe

I put a DC JDM ITR 4-1 on mine. Only thing is, the header + SMSP cat + 2.5" exhaust was installed all at the same time. Very noticeable power increase (above 4500 rpm), but of course I couldn't tell what mod I gained the most power from.

Also, the JDM ITR header (whether a DC or Honda) hangs kinda low. And if you're car is lowered 2" or more you might run into problems. I've dented up the bottom two tubes pretty bad on my header...thanks to a bad experience on I-64. Road construction and a lowered car (with even lower header) don't mix that well.

go with a dc jdm header or a dc 4-1. you wont notice a big difference, but if you have basic i/e, you will def notice a difference in the top end if you add this header. i personally dont prefer 4-2-1, but that is just my opinion and experience with them. anyhow gl.
