at 9 to 1 compression, how much boost can be run on 93 octane before detonation occours? please reply, i need help!

 

probably 7 untuned with piggybacks, 9 if tuned with piggybacks.... 12 with standalone.

 

thanks for answering. I have a b18c1 engine w/ stock injectors, and a stand alone w/ two additional 420cc injectors which are boost activated. what do you think?

 

Sounds about right, on a stock block. With built internals you could go much higher though.

 

yeah what about a sleeved block... je pistons (9:1) eagel rods... and hondata.. with 550cc injectors and all that other jiz.. how much boost then ??


bc im hopin for 18psi or more... god knows how 2 caculate it...

 

18 sounds like it would be safe with that setup, with tuning of course!

 

yeah ill be doin lots of tuning.. with my wideband...meter. and lots of dyno time also...

i wonder if i can run more ! ehehhe but i think ill be just wheel spining eveywhere

bah.you could go to 25 psi with those pistons...built block of course and proper tuning

 

Get a Quaife LSD and Z10 or Lakewood radius arms to help with the wheel hop and spin problems.

 

when i run into more more money.. i might get a LSD ehhe
but for now..... my turbo is eating it all up ! i can just afford my engine rebuild ! eheh
