right now on my 10:1 compression ls, i floor it all the way and when it is at 5-6k rpms in any gear, it will seem to hit the boost cut and bog and never hit 7k (redline). according to revhard, i can use stock injectors like what i am doing now, but if i put rc 310s, will it run better? i dynoed at 220 whp @ 6600 rpms @ 12 lbs with funny spikes on the dyno sheet and 180 wtq @ 5000rpms on 93 octane gas. i have an a/f ratio of 14:1(lean as hell). this damn thing needs a tune really bad. what type of fuel mang can i get? i know hondata is good but there is noone to tune it in lakeland, fl (between tampa and orlando). would there be any place to tune it over in orlando possibly?

If you like your motor, I would recommend lowering the boost to a couple psi until you can get it tuned. your just asking for trouble.

ditch the stock injectors. put in a set of 440s and get whatever ems your tuner is comfortable with.

i got some rc 310s but not installed. hell, my tech says they dont fit!! wtf??? and i lowered the boost to 5 lbs. it still does the same thing. its funny how i cant get the car past 5k rpms. and for gods sake, its still says lean in the a/f gauge. someone told me my exhaust is leaking. will that have anything to do with the a/f ratio? i still have my stock o2 sensor hoked up. also when i floor it, the check engine light comes on after the turbo spools. any idea on that?

if you got the revhard kit your using an fmu. get yourself an afc and go to a tuner. save up some cash and ditch the fmu/afc setup and run some larger injectors and hondata. and unless you swapped pistons or milled the head you don't have 10:1 on a LS

i made a mistake in milling the head 40 thousanths. that brought my compression at 10:1 i checked with cspeedracing and the calculator asked the stuff i have on the block and head. i know a oem hgasket is 29 thousanths thick. so for gasket size, i put -11 thousanths and it calculated to be about 10.04:1 compression. and yes i am using stock pr4 pistons and stock rods and crank.

Are you using stock ignition? Either gap your plugs way down to like .025 or less if running stock coil and all. Probably need a MSD of some sort.

10:1 compression, 14:1 AFR, stock injectors, and god knows what kind of a management system. Those are your problems, fix them. Stick in some bigger injectors, run uberdata/hondata/crome/whatever, get it TUNED. First day I boosted my car I **** my ******* pants if the AFR went over 13 because that's just asking to melt down your pistons.

My car isn't even turbo'd yet but i'm running dsm 450's, uberdata, and have a wideband hooked up, yet I'm still worried about it. You obviously don't give a **** about your engine, or are stupid. Setup fuel management first, then turbo.

yes, the boost has been set down to 7 psi and it still misfires. there was never any pinging or detonation. just misses. should i get a new distrubuter? my best pass in the 1/8th mile was a 9 flat@77mph, and in the 1/4th, it is 13.9@100 mph with this setup on street tires. 60' was a 2.0. tire size is 205/50/15 falken azenis. g-tech style computed. is that good for just shifting at 5.7k rpms??

the machine shop is doing it on the dyno. i dunno what it is but right now at idle it is hitting low 13s

do i need to hook up the stock o2 sensor??? what is a check valve for then? does it go in place of the o2 sensor? do they work together? or not?

yes the stock o2 sensor should be hooked back up once it is tuned.. it will throw a CEL if it is not hooked while driving the car and actually cause hesitation while driving cause the ecu does not how how it needs to mix the air and fuel.. check valves go on the map sensor
