I really don't want to be mean or anything, but if you don't know the basic, fundamentals of hooking up a turbo, how are you going to be able to do much more complicated things like oil lines and engine management?
Maybe you should read the FAQs in the forced induction board...

i understand the basics of how it works, etc etc...ive just never installed one...is that ok with you??
anyway, i dont have to hook anything up to a vacuum source, like the intake or booster or anything??

no you dont have to, the only thing you may want is a vaccum manifold so you can also hook up a boost controller and boost gauge. but you can always just use t-contions.
Are you using an external or internal wastegate? Does this turbo have a nipple on the compressor housing?
I would HIGHLY recommend reading the FAQ in the forced induction section for you will get flamed for not knowing these basics.

OK so all i have to do is hook the bottom port on the wastegate to the turbo outlet, and the top port to the bov? and thats ALL i need to do??
Also, i have a manual boost controller with a T-connection...can I just splice that off of ANY vacuum line?

First off you still haven't answered my question, is this internal or external gated? some internal wastegates have 2 nipples that's why I'm asking. Is there a nipple on the compressor housing?

Another thing, do I have to hook up a dump pipe to the other end of the wastegate? I know i have to for it to be street legal, but do i HAVE to? If so, where can I find a pipe and how can i run it back to the exhaust?
