Default how much harm can i do on an NA basemap?

i did a ported y7/y8 mini me with all the boltons, and kept my p2p ecu. I just got a chipped p28 from xenocron.com He sent me a basemap for all of my modifications, and dsm 450ccs. I want to install the 450's and my p28 because i feel like there is no way it could run worse than my current setup. I dont plan on getting the car tuned imediately. Is this a goood or bad idea?

bad you dont need 450 injectors. If you just install them and dont tune for a while the car will probally run like ****. even with the basemap.

i have 450's because once i get a hot side for my garrett .42/.48 im going to turbo my car. I dont have any tuning equipment/knowledge. I dont want to pay for two dyno tunes one NA, and one Boost, and the closest tuner is over an hour away in Indianapolis. I just want my car to run better and i figured this could help. apparently not.

As good as xenocron is a basemap is only a basemap and should be used only to get to the tuner.

get someone local to you to do a quick street tune. You don't need dyno time to get the N/A maps close enough to make sure it's not killing your setup.

check the tuner thread on pgmfi.org for people close to you with this capability.

What constitutes "running like crap" anyhow? I've done mini-me's before and they all ran fine out of the box with a SOHC VTEC ECU. The 450's won't help you at all, nor will an FI tune. If your engine's running badly enough, you probably did something wrong that no amount of half-assed "tuning" will fix.

The ECU is arguably the most important part of your little setup here. If you don't have the money to make it work, you shouldn't have started ******* around with it in the first place.
