I did a OBD2B to OBD1 conversion and am now using a p28 ecu.. on a b16a2 (OBD2)

I am ordering Rc injectors .. do I need Obd1 clips or will the clips that I have right now be fine?

 

If your wiring harness (not just your ECU) is OBD2B, then you need OBD2 injectors. No need to change the clips unless you're getting a really good deal on some OBD1 RC's.

 

uhh I did not quite get that sorry..

um I am running on a CHIP p28 ECU , converted to OBD1 tuned on crome , no rev limiter.

Your wiring harness is still OBD2B, yes? You're just using a conversion harness and a chipped ecu?

If so, you need OBD2 injectors.

So I can use my OBD2 clips that is on my B16

The injectors plug into the clips. I'm well aware of what I said. You need to order the RC injectors for an OBD2 car (ie, one with OBD2 injector clips).

So, once again, as clear as I can be:

You can use your stock clips. Just make sure you order the injectors that that will work for an OBD2 car with OBD2 injector clips.

Just because your ECU is OBD1 does not mean the rest of your car is too.
