15psi on a daily driver? Possible?
This is going to be put together hopefully before this year is over. I want to run 15psi on a b18b in a 96 ls integra. This is my daily driver and i need it to be reliable. Any tips or comments on this list ive compiled so far? I hate to ask this question
but what kind of quarter can i expect with this set-up?
Engine-
Arias 9.1 Pistons
Eagle rods
GE sleeved
Clutchnet Stg.2 clutch
or
ARP headbolts
Stock head gasket ?
Managment-
Hondata 2b
Missing Link
Fuel-
AEM fuel rail
AEM FPR
Holley Fuel pump 255lph
rc 440cc injectors
Turbo-
Max Rev kit
Undecided on intercooler, Maybe drag.
2.25" charge lines
Tial WG
Turbo XS bov
3" thermal exhaust
3" carsound cat
Turbo XS Dual stage boost controller
Thanks

Engine looks good, except for the clutch. You will probably need something with a little more clamping force than a stage 2.
If your getting a hondata, you will not need a missing link. With a hondata setup you need the map sensor to "see" the boost. However, you WILL need a 3-bar map sensor. The stock honda map will only read a lil over 10psi.
If your on a budget the fuel rail and FPR and not needed. About the injectors, 440s will be very maxed out before 15psi. I would look into 550s or larger if you plan on that much boost. Idling 720cc injectors is doable with a tuned hondata. And since your motor is going to be built, why limit yourself because of injector size if you decide to turn it up at the track.
The turbo and exhaust looks good.
If i was you i would definatly Upgrade to a Hondata stage 4b, or some other standalone.

your set up looks good. if you want to do things right the first time, sleeve it while the engine is out, dont test your luck with running 15psi on a stock block. some guys do this, but i dont have the ***** to run that much boost on stock sleeves and rely on just tuning. i would get a better clutch and if money allows possibly get a stage or 2 up on the hondata unit and possibly 550cc inj's. honda headgaskets are good for up to 500hp, its your call. youll be able to run 15psi just fine as long as you are tuned properly good luck

How about a Clutchmasters Stg.3?

Ok so ill have to use the gm 3bar map sensor. I think hondata has those?

Why upgrade to 4b? I know someone with 4b if datalogging was the only thing you were thinking about.

Semi-different list-
Engine-
Endyne "roller wave" 81.5mm 9.0comp pistons
Eagle rods
GE sleeved, re-bore
Clutchmasters Stg.3
ARP headbolts
Stock head gasket
Managment-
Hondata 2b
Fuel-
AEM fuel rail
AEM FPR
Holley Fuel pump 255lph
RC 550cc injectors
Turbo-
Max Rev kit
Drag Intercooler
2.25" charge lines
Tial WG
Turboxs type-s bov
3" thermal exhaust
3" carsound cat
Turbo XS Dual stage boost controller
Gauges-
Greddy egt
Autometer boost
So do you think ill finally shut my domestic driving co-worker up? He runs a 12.2 in the 1/4mile.
Well just have to go from a roll.
Also what kind of EGT do you think i will see? And what is a good range to be in?

I think that CLUTCHNET stage 2 WILL BE FINE
arias were fine..
MAX REV COMES with an intercooler.unless youve opted not to get it.
egts should be in the normal range i beleive....with all that.and boosting high.id say you will be an 11's sec car(on slicks(maybe higher boost).....maybe faster..dont knwo what body you have) on the street from a role..it would be a good run with your friend.(but you might have to up the boost)

I thought the clutchnet stg.2 would be fine too. It said it would hold 300hp. I really doubt ill be close to that.
I was going to go with arias but im going to be getting a real good deal on the endynes.
Im getting the Maxrev kit thats only the turbo/dp/manifold.
Whats a normal range for the egts? 700?
By the way this is going into a 96 Integra ls
