Default Rods...

I'm looking to finally build up my D15B for my project car and I need some H-beam forged rods...I hold in my hands a Tuner's Choice catalog and I see no D15 listing in the connecting rods section...Only D16...So would a D16 forged rod work in my D15B block? If not, does anyone know any place online that could hook me up? Any input would help alot.. Thanks!!

There are many more places to buy connecting rods for a D15B, but Eagle h-beams are the typical.

Does anyone know if this kit would work on my engine? Again, its a D15B(yes, the JDM version) Same bore as listed (75mm) but it doesn't mention anything about stroke length...hmm..Any suggestions?

from the ebay listing "THIS KIT WILL FIT

HONDA CIVIC D16A6 D16Z6 D16Y8 D16Y7 D16Y5 DOHC ZC SOHC ZC ENGINES

ACURA INTEGRA D16A1 D16A8 D16A9 ENGINES"

it won't fit your D15.. different rod length and different stroke... if you tried to use it the pistons would stick out above the top of the block

I did some research and found this quote on multiple sites...

"D15Z1 and D15B motors have a rod that is the same length as a D16. Other than the rod length, the rest of the bottom end is D15 spec (i.e. rod and crank bearings). D15B has D16 sized rod journals. D15B uses the same p28 rods that the D16z6 does. All other D15s have smaller rod journals."

SOOO...can anyone else verify if this kit will or will not fit my motor?? If it will, then I need to go ahead and buy it...PLEASE HELP!!
