D16 Bisimoto rods
Bisimoto d16 rods will require to do the block notch as well as the eagle rods.

Re: D16 Bisimoto rods
are you trying to say you wont have to notch the block? id like to see that, because i seriously doubt it.
there are many rods that do not require notching of the girdle, so that i would believe.

Re: D16 Bisimoto rods
i have called the bisimoto tech and for all you D16 SOHC turbo guys out there this is your best bet for not notching the block or the girdle. They sure are pricey as the eagle rods but id definately do the bisimoto d16 rods. I want to do vitara pistons with bisimoto rods on my d16 ZC sohc non vtec. wish me luck as i am still trying to save up money for these main parts. lol i bought more rims then engine parts....
I was the one that handled your call earlier, my apologies I thought you were inquiring whether your vitara pistons would work with our Bisimoto Rods! The rods that we currently have will work with a turbo setup in a D Series, but you will need to notch the block! The girdle may or may not need notching but that is something you will need to check on your own! Our Bisimoto Rods are built to be beefy and to handle boosted applications! Since they are beefier they are larger and require some extra clearance! So the notching becomes necessary!
WelfarePC is correct in saying that girdle may not be necessary, but block will be!
I hope that helps!
