Default eagle rods notching out block for clearance?? help !!! help!!!

i have a 1995 d16 and bought eagle rods, and am still using stock crank. the rods hit on the bottom of the cylinder walls. i called eagle and they told me that this is a common thing. if i would have know that to begin with i would have gone with something else. ..my mechanic at honda(who is doing my work for me there) is hesitant on grinding it down. so.. my question is, will i have to do this with any other brand of rods? any other suggested brands that will fit right? i would dish out the money for them if need be.... it just seems like a hassle... I NEED HIM TO GET IT DONE BEFORE WINTER SO PLEASE GIVE ME ANY SUGGESTIONS THAT YOU GUYS MIGHT HAVE

Just notch your block. It's no big deal. And, yes, they will probably all require it.
