Default Correct Hard Brake lines for a 3040 or 4040 prop valve?

When added a 3040 or 4040 for rear discs and bigger fronts upgrade,
what do you typically do for the brake hard lines from mc to prop
or in other words:
Do i "need" to have a shop bend new lines?
I plan to use a 15/16ths mc from a 91 prelude si and
the 4040 prop valve too..
Can i just use lines from a car w/ a stock 4040 setup and swap em over to the civic dx?

once you get the correct one the lines will work. im geussing it's an eg, since your using a master from a lude. eerything lines up, no ne lines needed unless you kinked one of yours.

Q? are we talkin about the same thing here?
I know the lude MC 15/16ths line up to stock civic lines..
I Was asking if the stock civic lines will bolt up to the 4040 prop vave when your car was originally a rear drum setup w/ the goofy propvalve for drums. I think they have differnt hole points for the lines right???

i'm currently working on this problem too. i have a 93 dx hatch, and i've been told to get one off of a 99-00 si or 94-01 integra (non abs). but the holes don't match up either.

as for the M/C. i didn't know the 91 prelude works. i was told if i wanted to upgrade without modifying the lines a 91 civic ex will bolt right up.

if you find out any more info on the 4040 prop valve, please shed some light, post some pics, something!

Dont know much about the 91 Lude MC, but I will say using Steel braided lines was a lot easier than messing with rebending of the hardlines. Probably run you about $50-$70 from Baker for the 2 lines.

just to give you an idea..
I run an ITR 1" MC w/ 4040 valve out of a 93 LS (EH mount on the Prop valve).

1 line was a 24" long, with 2- 90 degree inverted flare 10mm fittings, and the other line was 20" long, also with 2- 90 degree inverted flare fittings.. but one was 10mm and the other 12mm.
Everything was $60.

Baker Precision
http://www.bakerprecision.com/

Highly recomend them.. great fmaily owned and run business with great service.

Im running a 4040 prop valve out of a 1993 Integra LS. You disassembly the Civic and LS prop valves (2 pieces) so you can use the EH mounting bracket with the LS PV. Works perfect.

Well I have never done it but, Larry Jr. from import auto salvage knows his poopie. and has many kids do that swap.
Basically you would use a 90-91 prelude si 15/16ths mc w/ a Stock 92-95 Eg Booster. and the lines match right up to the 15/16ths
as for the Prop valve , i am starting to think you have to take lines from the ex or si from 92-95 or have someone bend you some hardlines from the Master cylinder to the prop valve.

here is the answer to your 4040 prop valve question since im doing the exact swap on my eg right now. The prop valve lines up perfectly with your stock hard lines. If you use a 4040 from a DA then youll have to reuse your stock mounting bracket. If you use the 4040 valve from a 94+ RS integra then its the exact same bracket and matches all the lines.
