Shortening brake lines?
I'm in the process of redoing everything in my engine bay, I did a complete wire tuck, shaved the bay and now I want to relocate the prop. valve to clear off the firewall. I have GSR brakes all around with the GSR booster and master cylinder, my only question is when shortening the front lines, do they have to be equal length or are they stagared? Can you use braided line for the fronts? I have Earls lines where the rubber lines were. I heard you just don't want to go over 3ft when using braided lines. I'm going to be running braided from the master cylinder ot the prop. also.

Re: Shortening brake lines? (PandaHatch)
I would use SS lines if i was to relocate the prop valve. Just take the lines to a shop around you that does SS lines and have them make one that lenght with the end piece and your good to go.

I'm not worried about making the lines, that's easy to do, I'm worried about length they need to be, I need to know if they have to be a certain length or in proprtion to the other lines.
