Default NSX Aluminium Jack Question

Are all NSX jacks made of aluminium? Are they durable? Can I use it for my CRX? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure the scissor jacks are made out of steel - mine is. I don't see why you couldn't use it for the CRX.

The scissors jack that comes with the NSX is indeed made of aluminum.

Are they durable?
Yes. But a hydraulic jack is easier to use.

Can I use it for my CRX?
A couple of considerations in using it with another car. First, it has a slot to fit the jacking point on the NSX. If you're jacking any other car with a longitudinal tab, it will be fine, but it might not mate with other surfaces. Second, I don't know what the lifting range is; maybe its maximum lift isn't as much as you might need.

Not if it's the one that came with the car and fits in the recess in the trunk.
