Default Can i rewire my 97 integra GSR o2 sensor wires?

I was trying out a new cat so i took off my stock 1 which i had to cut off the back o2 wires in order to take off the cat. Now, im wondering if i can just electrical tape the wires back together and it'll still work? I'm also confused on which wires goes with which because theres 4 wires. 1 white, 1 green, 2 black. I dont know which black wire goes with which. Some1 please help. I dont really want to buy a new one because it costs around a 100+ bucks.

I would solder and use heat shrink at the bare minimum. The two black wires are both grounds...they can be interchanged.

Don't know about the electrical tape, just because of the heat in that area. Perhaps someone else can help with that part.

Regarding the two black wires, they are interchangeable. One is a ground for the heating element, the other is the ground for the actual sensor.

hi im having a similar problem: the o2 sensor pins got pulled out and i need to know which wires go where. im not sure but i think the green and white go on the top and the black ones are below. or if someone could take a pic of their primary o2 sensor that would be cool.

If you are holding the o2 sensors harness connection thing, with the tab pointing straight up, the wires go

black black
white green

Does that help?
