Paint question
I have a 2001 GSR and the paint code off the door is for Satin Silver Metallic Clearcoat and several websites say that color was offered for the 2001 GSR's. But the car does not look ast dark as silverstone metallic, it looks much like VSM. So I go get my front lip painted for Satin Silver Metallic Clearcoat and sure enough, its too dark.
So, whats up with this? I'm the 3rd owner and its never been wrecked/resprayed. Should I try VSM and see if it matches? Anyone ever ran into this problem before?

its not always an exact match when you paint a new piece it never will be.... you need to take your car to a shop and have them custom match the paint......... there are few variances that make the color look totally different.... thats your issue hope this helps!!!! later

Eh, thats not true. I painted the front lip and side skirts on my old VSM coupe and it matched perfectly and that car as a 1996. I've never heard of satin silver integra's until today.
