JBL BP 1200.1 and Rockford Fosgate 800.2 Questions
I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this amp? I've found it online for REALLY cheap (~$280) and it seems almost too good to be true.
How does the quality of this amp compare to, lets say the rockford fosgate 800.2? I've seen the 800.2 online for about $320 and I was wondering if I should spring the extra 40 bucks to get the rf amp instead.
Opinions?

JBL 1200.1 is for real, my friend has one and it is awesome $280 is a high price too, check mor eon the net or on ebay u can get for about $230 now. try justamps.com
800.2 vs. 1200.1 is an apple orange comparison. If you compare the bd 1000.1 then you get some major performance and some equal wattage comparison.
The 800.2 does not feature the new BD technology rockford is so crazy to market. Basically BD amps are highly efficient and do more with the current that feeds them. They are designed stable at 2ohm and have excellent crossovers. The price however for a 1000.1 is heafty..and a jbl 1200.1 (notice both mono blocks) can easily kill it for the price your getting it at.
If you had them side by side at the same price, i'd go fosgate, if the bd1000 was $100 more i'd still go fosgate...but at the current pricing, it's jbl
GREAT quality too!
