NEED HELP!!
well i just bought a new civic 07 si 2dr...and has only 65 miles on it...i slammed on the brakes cause some guy cut me slowly (bastard) and i slammed on the brakes making the car skid...i just need some help..does it only wear out the brake pads? or does it damage anything else? im just a little paranoid right now...help me
It depends how fast you're going.
Skidding only really messes up your tires (more so if you don't have ABS).
But, you have ABS...and you have 65 miles on brakes/tires...so you're fine.
Just don't make this a habbit.

you're good homie
all you did was put the ABS to work. brake pads are designed for skidding every once and a while. no need to be paranoid. you didnt damage anything, just don't make a habbit of it.

Yep, all true. Just take it easy and ease the brakes in still. Even if you have to replace the pads from that (HIGHLY unlikely), they aren't that expensive. You shouldn't have done any permanent damage to the car at all.
Grats on the car purchase BTW
