i got a h22a... how do i know if its a type S a 240hp one.. or a 200 horsepower one?? its got the black valve colver with the big VTEC... and do they both have LSD?

 

You will need the engine and tranny code to answer this question.
There is NO 240hp H22.
Im sure its a base 200hp motor....
People don't mysteriously put TypeS/EuroR motors into cars and forget....They cost about twice as much $$$...

 

m2b4 is the tranny code.. where is the engine code? or what does it start with?

 

The engine code is straight down from where the short radiator hose goes into the engine. It'll say H22A, H22A4, etc....

 

o yea.. it just says H22a... thats it

 

Thats a JDM LSD trans....So I have to assume its a JDM H22A motor.
It would start with an H....but you won't be able to tell the difference between the H22A TypeS and Non TypeS.
The number under the engine code may help though........
