Default Replacing Wheel Bearings

Im having some trouble pulling the hub what tool did you guys use I have a hub puller but im not sure if it will work it seems alittle big.

You need a press. You need to support the knuckle on the sides (the screws for the splash shield makes this a bit difficult), then press the hub out from the back side. Be ready to catch the hub, and beware that some ball bearings may fall out if the bearing is fubar.

yes but to remove the hub from the spindle ?

You need to press the bearing out of the hub but i need to remove the hub assembly from the car in order to do this correct ?

I don't know how you'd use a run of the mill gear/hub puller to remove the hub, there's nothing to press against.

I use a 20 ton hydraulic press myself. I have the HubTamer that allows you (supposedly) to do this with the knuckle on the car, but I still prefer a hydraulic press.

yes the front. the rear is part of the assembly if im not mistaken.

Yes, that is correct, and in the rear you can use a gear/hub puller to remove the hub from the knuckle.

Yes. You can easily tell what needs to be done by examining the knuckle once it's off the car.
