Default 0bd2a obd2b question

what is the difference between obd2a and obd2b, i know obd2a is 96-98 civic and obd2b is 99-00 civic, but what is the difference exactly

the ecu harness is completly different

yep...also the ecu size on the 96-98 are like the 92-95 civc's the 99-00 ecu's are pretty small, close to half the 96-98 size. I've tried test fitting a 99 civic ecu into a 98 and 3 plugs plug up but the 4th one doesn't. I'm not sure if it would even start but even if it did im sure it would run like ****...
