Are 96-98 harness Same as 99-00????

Default Are 96-98 harness Same as 99-00????

i was just wondering if a 00 harness would work on my 98 ? and my 98 ecu? i thought the ecus and everything were different

No, 96-98 is obd2
99 is obd2a
00 is obd2b, i believe

The difference in the harnesses is what plugs are used to connect to the ecu..kinda like this:

if i put a 96-98 motor in my 99 civic ex do i have to change the engine harness?

no use your stock harness and 96-98 ecu
