Default need help choosing wires

I want to hook up my Mb quart components, amp and crossovers using the stock deck

what Gauge wire for the amp? Its 4x90w its pretty puny
How about fuses?
grounding? any tips?
and also the remote..what color is the wire?

what about those prepackaged "starter"kits with all the wiring and stuff inside?
I know wiring can get pretty expensive, should I try a home depot place and find wiring through them?
thank you so much

your going to need to get an inline/line level converter to convert your stock head units signal to RCA's for the amps input... unless your amp has line level inputs... I would run a MINIMUM of 8 guage.. where are you putting the amp? under the seats? or running it a longer ways/distance and into the trunk? you might as well go for 4 guage in case in the future you decide to get a bigger amp...

dont know if this chart will work or not..

Total RMS
Power (watts) Distance
4 feet 8 feet 12 feet 16 feet 20 feet
100 10 gauge 10 gauge 8 gauge 8 gauge 4 gauge
200 10 gauge 8 gauge 8 gauge 4 gauge 4 gauge
400 8 gauge 8 gauge 4 gauge 4 gauge 4 gauge
600 8 gauge 4 gauge 4 gauge 4 gauge 4 gauge
800 4 gauge 4 gauge 4 gauge 2 gauge 2 gauge
1000 4 gauge 4 gauge 2 gauge 2 gauge 2 gauge
1400 4 gauge 2 gauge 2 gauge 2 gauge 2 gauge

EDIT: for grounding make sure its a bare metal surface w/ a good clean metal contact (not painted).. run the same guage ground as power...
