Default JRSC...possible 200 whp?

My brother just recently bought a 98 civic ex and he wants to SC the y8 instead of swapping it...can he push 200whp on stock internals? on the 10psi pulley....intercooled...also.. turbo cams or vtec cams , which would be better on a SC setup?...thanks

yes possible, but not worth the time, effort, and money. You can put together a very respectable turbo kit for half of the sc price and make much more power.

JRSC's are cheap, a brand new one from Moss costs less than $2K, used ones sell for less than half of that. I don't know if you can squeeze 200 WHP out of a D-series with one, but ask in the JRSC thread, someone there should know.
