Re: JRSC or Greddy Turbo kit
why do you have a y7 and power would be turbo but you can only do so much on a stock engine boost without rebuild. s/c is the most reliable. if you havent kept up with maintence or you have a lot of miles on the car id think twice. do a search and youll find your answer its been cover millions of times.good luck

Neither is more reliable than the other. Get that misconception out of your head right now. More power? Neither. You're limited to about 200hp on a stock engine. Ease for power increase in the future? Turbo. Boosting a Y7? Not smart.

Re: JRSC or Greddy Turbo kit
Read the official JRSC SOHC Thread if you are wanting info on supercharging. The non-VTEC SOHC seem to make just as much as the VTEC (Y8) models.
I think you would be much happier with a swap. Depending on what motor you could do it for the same relative amount of money and more HP with more potential for improvement.
Just my .02$
