I just did a auto to manual tranny swap and now my clutch fork is making this weird chirping noise. i put in a new clutch kit when i did it 50-75 miles ago, so i don't think any things going out. i can put my hand on the clutch fork and it goes away. when I'm driving it makes the noise until i push on the clutch petal. please help me out this **** is driving me insane!

 

just took another look at it and my slave cyl. isn't really touching the fork when the clutch petal isn't being pressed. any input appreciated

 

maybe your clutch or release bearing is not lined up properly. just a guess.

 

it shifts smooth with no grings, it seems like the slave cyl should be a 1/2in out more and it wouldn't make the noise. any one know how to do that?

 

anyone? i was just searching and there ain't ****, anyone got a link or somthing?

 

how mutch petal play is there supose to be? i have about an inch or so of play what is normal?
