ARRGHH! need more boost!
besides the fact that the Kings lost to the Lakers today because of the dumb *** referees... im kinda pissed about losing to a MR2 at the private runs earlier.
i raced a hatch with a LS swap and NOS... spanked it with no problem. bad launch... nothing but tire spin from 1st to 2nd gear, but i passed him by like nothing. then... i raced a MR2 boostin 15lbs. he had a good launch. again... nothing but wheel spin and high tachin from 1st to 2nd... and he was already a car ahead of me. it wasnt til 3rd and 4th gear that i was able to creep up on his lead... but he was already almost a car ahead of me when we had to hit the breaks. this is the 2nd damn time i lost to a MR2. WTF!!
this is the thing... i was only boostin 5lbs on my b18b. i want to boost more, but the reliability of my engine is very questionable. my motor has been thru lots of abuse. 134,000+ miles on it. 19,000+ on boost. my setup is a 2.5 exhaust, DRAG3 kit (12:1 fmu and stock injectors), and ACT HD 6puck.
my predicament:
what trim could i get that would improve low end power? should i swap out my t3/t4 for a t3 super 60? recommendations would help. i need to start workin on my setup for more power. i know Hondata and a Quaife LSD are good things to get... but i need other options. thanks...

why would you want more low end power if you cant get traction now as it is? Get some slicks for the track and some drag radials for the street. The reason they keep winning is cause there rear wheel drive and they get better traction off the line
DR's and maybe a set of Z10's to help you get off the line.. you've already got the power, now you need to be able to use it. And upgrading to a 3" catback woulnd't hurt either..
i wanted a 3in exhaust but its gonna be too damn loud! how much do one of those z10 bars go for? i know i need to upgrade my suspension as well. do those kyb agxs make a difference? cuz ive heard mixed opinions. i need to eliminate wheel hop and tire spin. ive never had tire spin problems til i slapped on these stock 15in LS rims with wack *** Michelin tires. the wheel hop problem has been there... but never really costed me races as much as tire spins.

i dont tach it to high... probably around 3000-3500. my launches are somewhat cool... but once i take it up to 6500 before i shift to 2nd... i get crazy wheel spin.
You need better tires. Those michelines are **** tires.
Get Falken Azenis or Bridgestone Potenza so3's.
