Daily Driven Integra, need turbo, import builders or dag?
well...the cost of the import builders setup is more than twice that of the drag. however, if its worth the money, Ill get that istead of the drag kit.

Import Builders kit : $6000

$6000 for that kit?
i can build you a custom kit way cheaper than that...
the only thing you need to upgrade with the DRAG kit is the oil return lines... sell the fmu... buy some 440cc injectors and a Hondata stage 2b... a greddy profecB... a few guages here and there... and you probably still have $1500 left to spend on other things, as compared to that import builders turbo kit. you get a tight *** kit with a standalone unit for $1500 less than the IB kit. thats more than enough to convince you to NOT get the IB kit.
if you went with a custom kit... it would probably be around the same price range as the DRAG kit.

You can get a custom kit for about $1500 if you use a stock intercooler; BOV; and, if you want to, turbo from a stock turbo car and fab your own IC piping. Add Hondata for about $1500 tuned and you're set.

http://mywebpages.comcast.net/integr...temp/turbo.htm
check out that page, its an excel sheet that I made and looked around for the parts for the past few days to match that kit. Maybe I dont know where to get the stuff, but my cost is becoming kinda high (next to 6 grand without shipping)
can anyone suggest cheap places to get stuff and or other things to get?

go drag, that 6k turbo set-up seems quite pricy. a buddy of mine has a new drag kit for sale, he's asking 2650 plus shipping.

do you know if the manifold bolts right up or requires modifications?
also, on ebay, they got a **** load of HKS BOV's, most are used from some other models....
is there a specific name for it?

Re: Daily Driven Integra, need turbo, import builders or dag? (integra-modder)
if u want a HKS BOV........... probably the popular one SSQ = Super Sequential
you migh have to shave the block a little for the max rev.......and i think most of them dont allow for AC

Re: Daily Driven Integra, need turbo, import builders or dag? (int3gra)
well then thats out of the question...which allow me to keep AC and have a centralized wastegate location?
ou say the HKS should be no more than 180 on ebay? (new or used, from what car?)

Re: Daily Driven Integra, need turbo, import builders or dag? (integra-modder)
you can use that one.....any will work........u just have to weld it onto the piping.
HKS should be around $180 - 200
you can also get it for $200 from http://www.turboevo.com in the monthly clearance section.
not sure which manifold allows for AC.......i have no AC

if you order a dRAG kit then you shouldn't have bought that BOV. Do a LOT of research before you start buying a bunch of chit. It will save you money in the long run.
