Default how to install and clean cold air intake on 04 civic

sup guys, im pretty much a noob when it comes to modifications. i have my cold air intake installed but want to clean it. the problem is that i dont know how to take off my front bumper. any help. thanks.

p.s. how do i clean it

There are some screws on the top ends and then some clips on top lift the hood for that then there are some clips on the bottom then it should pop off.

Dude, you dont need to take off your front bumper to clean your intake.

Thats shenanigans.

Do you want to clean the piping? If so, i would suggest simple green or soap and water with a metal polish.

Or the filter? The filter can only be cleaned if it is K&N brand or another re-washable, re-usable filter. It needs to be cleaned with a filter oil element.

You can take out your battery and battery tray to easier access the intake.
