Default Want to Clean Intake Air Filter...

I have an AEM CAI and want to clean the filter. How can I do this without taking out the entire intake? I get up from underneath, but do I have to take out my FR Wheels?

just take off the filter and take a hose to it

you don't need to take off the whole thing

I was wondering the same thing. I had the AEM intake on when I got the car, so I am not sure how to get to the filter. From what it looks like, It seems like I would have to take off teh front bumper to get to it. Can anyone help me out?

Taking off the front bumper will get you access to the filter. On http://www.team-integra.net there is an actictle explaining how to take off the bumper, I can't access the websit cause I can't remember my password, sorry

you don't have to take out the wheels, just jack up the car , take those screws out and you can access the filter...kind of a pain in the ***, i have to clean mine also next week.

The K&N Recharger kit is the best solution. It comes with the cleaner and the oil to apply after you clean it. I got it for $20 at a Auto Parts place.

My inner fender wall line on the passneger side(where the filter is) was ripped off (accidently) in the process of changing to a 98+ front end. Could this be very bad since dirt and water have easier access to the intake?
