I am the proud owner of a 2006 civic lx, i am the first owner and love it. I've done a few swaps, but everything pre k series era. I've always been tempted to build something else for my civic. What I thought of first was a blown rsx motor, but i love me some torque and i remembered that it was possible to put the rsx-s head on the k24 block and get a lovely power band. And then I thought further if that would be enough for me. So I thought about building a k24 hybrid turbo motor. My question is has this been done before? any dynos? any personal experiences to speak of? would this be horribly unreliable if not done perfectly?

hasport built a hi comp k24 with nosssss and sc

 

K20A2 head on a K24A1 block has been done with great results.
