Default turbo craped out, oil in the exaust , will it smoke for ever lol

helping a buddy get his car up and running .

turns out he had a riped off t3/t4 from ebay . looked like a turbonetics but it was not(i tried to tell him over and over but 2g in wasted money later , oh well)

any who turbo never made any boost , and finally it went a day later ,

therew was oil allll over the exaust side and the exaust is soaked in oil . he bouth a nice new turbo from a reputable guy and this car smokes all the time . you can count 3 sec on decel and the smoke come poring out .

turns out he had the wrong dip stick ni the car (to short) and the car was way over filled with oil , and was blocking the return line . so a bigger line was put on and the oil was drianed out . still smokes.

motor has 220 to 225 psi in all 4 cylinders and apperas to be healty .

will it just take time to burn the oil oit of the exaust or what

thanks

if there was that much extra oil, theres a possability that it caused engine damage.

Just make sure theres the correct amount of oil, and an oil restrictor for the turbo, and if it doesnt stop, then somethings wrong.

The compression numbers could be so high because of all the extra oil in the cylinders acting as a seal.

well that seems to be the norm for my gauge, plus it was done on a warm motor , like my stock h22 would come out around 240psi so the gauge does read a bit high .

im trying to find out if there is a restritor on the turbo , i dont think there is

Curious, just exactly how much EXTRA oil was in there?

I never knew that Honda's have different length dipsticks between the B & D series that is. Not too sure about the K's.
