ok so about 3 weeks ago i changed my suspension... i got brand new tockico blues wit eibach springs...... after i did the sus. swap it feels like my front end is "loose"... if i jack the car up so that there isnt any pressure on the front end and the tires just "hang" i can lift the tires up and down w/o a struggle at all.....also when driving and i take bumps the ride quality when talkin about the shocks in fine but the front end rattles slightly and it doesnt feel tight like before... any possible solutions? ps i did go back and check to make sure everything was tighten

 

did you buy them used?

i would contact Tokico and see what they say... cause they might need to replace them..

 

do your wheels wobble at all when you are rolling?

 

yea the drivers side one does when i hit a bump... and i did re tighten my wheel on all the way if thats what ur goin to say

 

what about spacers or a washer of some kind can make your wheels off balance... or maybe it was the way you mounted the wheel itself.

I would remount the wheel. Mount the wheel finger tight all the lugs then tighten the lugs in a X pattern.

 

i remounted them twice already.. i doubt thats the problem...... when the car is unloaded i can push up on the wheel (towards the fender) with ease.... y is that? could it be the top hat isnt assembled right? even though ive done plenty of suspensions and doubt i did it wrong... but would that cause the wheel to have a "loose" feelin?

 

check ur ball joints

 

ya i think it might be the ball joints too. my 99 si has the same exact problem and my ball joint is busted. haven't gotten around to replacing it yet...but the noise and wobbling started once it broke....good luck man...
