Default Some input on what to do with the block?

Hey guys, i gotta type r motor and im thinking of sending the block off to the machine shop since it throws out alot of smoke. I know its the piston rings but i want to basically rebuild the block for turbo. I was wondering if someone can help me with a run down on what's the best way to start with sending it to the shop. Im just basically looking for info such as sleeving, bore, pistons, rods, etc. What compression rate should i look at since im going turbo, and brands for the internals? What should i do when i take the block to the machince shop. Im kind of a noob so please take it easy on me. Thanks for all input guys. Its kindly appreciated.
